If it’s not obvious yet (maybe you’ll be convinced after my official Grand BINIverse merch review), I identify as a full-blown BLOOM – a certified fan of the nation’s girl group BINI. I don’t think they need any more introductions at this time. They’re an 8-girl P-pop group from the Philippines who finally got the recognition and fame they deserved last year, around summer of 2024 with their hit song Pantropiko. The boyfriend and I may be considered late BLOOMers since we only became fans after Pantropiko became viral on Tiktok, but I don’t think that matters. These talented and funny BINI women deserve all the support and love. 🌸
This is the first time I’ve ever been part of a fandom, and my first time EVER to be this hooked and a fanatic about a girl group. But Filipino pop group BINI are such phenomenal performers, and their personalities are just the Cherry On Top. 😉🍒
We wanted to watch their Grand BINIverse concert last November 2024, but we weren’t able to score tickets. We opted to watch their livestream for all 3 days instead, and we also pre-ordered their BINI Grand BINIverse merchandise. It was an 11-hour ordeal for us (we went there on Day 1 of claiming the official BINI merchandise collection), but it was all worth it. It’s for BINI eh. 😅
So here’s my quick review of the official Grand BINIverse merchandise that we bought in case you also want to buy these unique BINI merchandise too.
Grand BINIverse Photo Cards
First, the Grand BINIverse photo cards. We got one each of both sets. The packaging of both sets look gorgeous and sleek with their official BINI color teal and black (my favorite color!). Outside, you’ll see the 5 icons that represent the 5 chapters of their Grand BINIverse concert.
When you open the pack, you’ll see inside the BINI alphabet. It’s not too complicated so you can still decipher when a BLOOM uses them to write something. Wish it was a li’l complicated para mas mysterious ang dating. 😅
Anyway, on to the photo cards. First is SET B where they’re all wearing colorful outfits and accessories. I love the photos, especially Maloi’s (or maybe I’m just biased because she’s my main bias 😅) pero OH MY GAD ang gaganda nila! 🥰
This SET B is the one with the puzzle pieces at the back that you can connect to complete a puzzle forming the Grand BINIverse logo. It’s pretty easy to do naman. If you need a hint, arrange the cards from oldest to youngest, from top to bottom, left to right.
The SET A photo cards naman, they’re wearing more earth-toned clothes and sporting this no-makeup makeup looks. As always, they look beautiful. 🥰
I love the texture of the photo cards. They look legit official BINI merch, especially with the special BINI member card that you’ll get per set. You won’t know which BINI member you’ll get. For us, we ended up with Stacey / Staku on both sets waaah. Main bias ni Chris (the boyfriend) so okay lang, but wish we got 1 Maloi special card too. 😀
I wish they’ll sell these photo cards again. We need at least 6 more sets. We don’t want to buy the special cards from others kasi. We enjoy the thrill of opening photo card packs not knowing which BINI member’s photo card you’ll get. 😁
Take note that these Grand BINIverse photo cards fit these 57.5x89mm photo card sleeves (you can buy here: Shopee | Tiktok | Lazada). We placed them in the photo card sleeves plus placed them in our official BINI photo card album (OFFICIAL?!?!) for double protection, along with our other official BINI photo cards from Jollibee, Modess and Globe.
BINI Pillow in Teal
I just had to have a BINI pillow! It’s super cute, nice & fluffy. It’s BINI’s official logo in their official color, teal. Love this shade and I’m glad that it’s saktong soft lang.
Fake news si Staku though. She said in her promo video for the pillow that it smells like BINI. Chos! 🤣 As if naman I know their smell, noh? 😅
BINI Bayong
To all those who bashed BINI, especially Maloi, for their BINI Bayong (previously called BINI Tote Bag), shame on you! Ang ganda kaya! I love the texture and simple, minimalist design with just the teal color and BINI icons on the handles. When I first saw it, it’s the first thing I wanted to buy because, well, it’s black, and I love the subtle design.
It’s big enough to fit a good amount of grocery items. I kinda regretted that I only bought one because now I don’t know where to buy BINI merch anymore since limited na lang the items they sell online.
I’d probably customize this soon, but I’m still leaning towards keeping it as is. Maybe just add the BINI member colors on the teal handles’ icons. We’ll see. 😉
Cherry on Top Crewneck Sweatshirt
Since we couldn’t get the Cherry on Top shirt because of limited size options, we ended up with this crewneck sweatshirt. I’m glad we did because I love it! The embroidered cherry with BINI’s icon logo on the front is super cute. Minimalist ang peg! 😁🍒
The texture is smooth to the skin, and I’ve worn this twice already since we got it, and I didn’t sweat badly while we were walking around the mall and grocery-shopping. It doesn’t feel too hot or warm on me. Not sure what they call the fabric they used, but I was surprised by the quality. It’s soft and thick enough for a sweatshirt.
I also like the design at the back, with the big BINI logo and the names of all 8 girls. The texture feels rubbery, but thick. What do they call this material? 😁 I just hope they don’t peel easily, so we need to be extra careful when we wash this.
Some people were wishing the back design was embroidered too. Uhm that’ll easily raise the price for this Cherry on Top crewneck sweatshirt to maybe Php 2,000 more. 😅
We got the biggest size – XL. We usually wear 2XL up to 4XL clothes, but it fits us naman. Tight fit, but still comfy to wear when we’re out.
Grand BINIverse Hoodie
This was a happy mistake because I was supposed to only buy the GBV shirt, but I was such in a hurry to check out that I didn’t realize I forgot to take this out of my cart first. 😅 Buti na lang kasi this was one of the first items that sold out fast.
I love the design on both front and back, with the 5 chapter icons of the Grand BINIverse plus the colors of the BINI members. I just hope this won’t easily peel. We might need to wash this ourselves. 😁
We got the L-XL size. We were surprised that this was looser and wider so it’s more comfortable to wear, aside from the fact that it’s a hoodie. I love wearing this more than the BINI sweatshirt. The BF wears this more since it’s stretchy and feels more comfy on him than the other BINI merch clothes we got. The fabric is just a li’l thinner than the CoT sweatshirt, but thick enough for a hoodie. Not too mainit when you wear this so bet namin!
Grand BINIverse Shirt
Since we can’t buy the Cherry on Top shirt due to size limits (we hope they release bigger sizes kasi we love the CoT shirt designs!!), we chose to get this one na rin for days when we can’t wear hoodies or sweatshirts because of the weather.
Same design as the hoodie, but the fabric of the shirt is thick cotton material with a slight stretch, so it’s comfy to wear. We got the XL size, but unlike the hoodie, this one’s a li’l snug. Goal now is to lose weight so we can wear all these BINI merch with ease. 😅
METRO Magazine with BINI on the cover
We just had to get this. It’s the 35th anniversary issue of Metro Magazine featuring BINI on the cover. We enjoyed reading all the interviews about the girls. They have individual pieces and the writeups further solidified why we love all 8 of BINI. Walo hanggang dulo talaga ‘to! 🌸🥰
We also love the photos of the girls as they showcased each of the girls’ personalities and beauty, unlike Vogue. 😅
Anywayyyyy, that’s it for my review of the official BINI Grand Biniverse merch. The 11-hour queuing time was all worth it naman, basta for BINI.
Wish we can still buy the official BINI photo cards for GBV so we can complete all the special cards or at least have enough to trade with fellow BLOOMS.
