When you hear the words “knock on your door”, no matter what the occasion or where it happens, I bet you get the urge to sing the famous Electrolux “Knock On Your Door” jingle. You’re not alone. It’s so catchy, even just hearing or even thinking about it once makes me want to sing that line, "We’re gonna knock on your door, ring on your bell, tap on your windows too” just to get it off my chest. :D

I know a lot of you are familiar with this jingle. How about if I tell you that by recording yourself singing this jingle in your own most creative way, you can win an eye-popping Electrolux Christmas Kitchen Surprise package?!   • Come up with your very own rendition of the jingle in the most creative way you can think of. Then, take a video of your production.
    Don’t just sing the song, think of something that can go viral. :)  
  • Visit electroluxman.com and register online by providing your contact information and uploading your video from November 3 to November 30, 2011.
  • Under “Referred by:”, put in Pinay Reviewer / blankPixels
  • Video entries must be of a minimum length of 30 seconds and a maximum length of 2 minutes, not exceeding 20MB.

STEP 3

  • Watch out for the Top 10 videos that will be uploaded in the Knock on Your Door Video Challenge tab on Facebook from December 2, 2011 to December 11, 2011.

MECHANICS:

  1. Who can join: A group of friends/barkada with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 members and are all Philippine residents.

  3. Take a photo of your barkada.
  4. Shoot the video.
  5. Come up with a PLEDGE TO YOUR TAMBAYAN to tell us how endearing your tambayan is to your barkada.
  6. Once done with all of the above, REGISTER your barkada.
  7. NOTE: If you would like to send additional entries, email the web admin at oishiridges@tambayangmagiliw.com and attach your entry videos. Once approved, the web admin will post your additional videos on your profile page.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Craziest Thing Video Contest – Ends 03/22

Win a Samsung Galaxy Tab by joining the Craziest Thing Video contest – How far will you go?!

MECHANICS:

  1. Make sure to "like" Samsung Galaxy Tab Craziest Things on Facebook.
  2. Create/shoot a minimum of 30-second to a maximum of 90-second video using your camera, phone or video recorder. Ensure the sound is audible and the video’s quality is viewable.
  3. In the video, show how far you will go to get a Samsung Galaxy Tab. Make it as interesting as you can.
  4. Upload the video on Youtube. Give it a title and make sure you tag the entry with keywords "Samsung Galaxy Tab Craziest Things"
  5. Afterwards, copy/save the URL and share it on Samsung Galaxy Tab Craziest Things on Facebook. Make sure in the description that you TAG YOURSELF so it’ll be shared on your profile page as well.
  6. You can upload or submit as many unique video entries as you can.
  7. Ask your friends to "like" your entries.
