If there’s one sexy gadget I would love to own, this is it – Braven 570. It’s a high-def portable wireless Bluetooth speaker, charger, and speaker phone all rolled into one. And it comes in black. How can one not go gaga over this?!
As soon as I opened the box and read the description, I knew I was up for something awesome. I tested this with my bro, who’s a fellow audiophile, and boy, did we fall in love with this small and yet power-packed device!
I remember when we went for a 5-day vacation to Northern Luzon back in 2010, I was supposed to bring my laptop with me. However, because I wasn’t comfy enough with my backpack at that time, I left my laptop at home. It was blessing in disguise ’cause I got to completely enjoy the trip, but I’m not sure I can afford to do that with my current job. I prefer backpacks to bring valuables because I feel more secure with them, so Crumpler’s House of Horror laptop bag is just perfect.
In case you’re wondering who’s in the photos in this review, that’s my nanay – my ever supportive mom. 
I asked her to be my ‘model’ and she gleefully accepted the task. After I was done post-processing the photos, I realized that this House of Horror laptop bag looked good on her. So, it’s suited for anyone, really. 
First thing we noticed is, as expected from Crumpler, how comfortable it is to wear this bag on your back. The 38-mm soft webbing straps are easily adjustable to even out the weight distribution on your shoulders.
The front of the bag has a quick access zippered pocket for the less valuable things you bring. Crumpler House of Horror is meant for up to 15-inch laptops. The laptop sleeve is well-cushioned to ensure your device is safe. The whole bag is also made of water-resistant materials, even the zippers!
It has a total of 5 storage zones / compartments. The inside of the bag has pockets for your smaller devices like smartphones, digital camers or even chargers.
The bag also has padded carry handles so you can easily bring this along like a tote bag or even as a frontpack – pauso lang.

As you might already know, this is my second month with Glamourbox. I posted a quick review of the contents of the January 2013 Glamourbox and I’ll be doing this every month to let you in on what’s inside their monthly box. For the Glamourbox February 2013, if you’d think there are makeup items included in the box, you’ll be disappointed.
That’s exactly how I felt when I saw the contents of this month’s Glamourbox. I guess I had high expectations, so when I quickly went through the contents of their February box, my excitement turned to letdown.
As I carefully checked each item, I kept on reminding myself that the point of my subscription to their beauty box is to try out products I won’t normally buy or be interested in. Considering the amount of products in this box that I won’t actually be using, I wasn’t happy.
HOWEVER, let me just say this: your reaction towards the contents of this month’s box may be completely different from mine. Why? Because we differ in needs and preferences. I just don’t find many of the items this month personally useful.

If you’ve read my past reviews of Crumpler bags, you know I’m a big fan of their high quality and durable products. And, of course, their lifetime guarantee is one reason people don’t mind the price point because you know you’re getting your money’s worth with your favorite Crumpler bags and accessories. This one is no different.
Let’s check out the compartments. For your tablet, the back zippered compartment will provide you that quick, secure and easy access to your favorite gadgets. The zipper doesn’t go all the way through the compartment and will only open halfway.
As I was checking out the bag and after reading the description on their site, Crumpler Flock of Horror is mainly for those who usually bring tablets and laptops with them, may it be for work or travel.
The interior padded sleeve with velcro closure can fit 15-inch laptops (or smaller). You have one zippered side pocket inside too.
The top opening of the main cargo space is also zippered. You get a concealed top opening zippered stash pocket for other small items you need quick access to like pens, business cards, etc.
The whole bag is made of soft yet evidently strong materials making this comfortable to bring anywhere. The carry handles are also padded. You can adjust the shoulder harness so it’ll fit your body better.
As always, the bag is ultra-durable, with reinforced joining and stitching on stress points. It comes in variety of colors, but I love this camouflage-colored bag I’m reviewing.
Since rainy season is a few months away and our weather lately has been unpredictable, you wouldn’t want your precious gadgets to get wet. This bag is made of water-resistant materials and zippers for maximum protection against the rain or storm. Perfect to safeguard the gadgets you can’t leave home without.
