Are you a member of Pakyaw, one of the popular group-buying sites to-date? If you are, I’m sure you’ve heard of their Black Bag raffle promo where we get a chance to buy what’s in it for Php 2,000 only (through credit card) on the Pakyaw website.

I got really intrigued by this and I participated in the first Black Bag promo. I completely thought I already opted in the second week so I missed the chance to win. Boohoo.

What were in those bags, you might be asking. Well, the first Black Bag contained a Samsung 32-inch LCD TV and a fellow blogger, Richard of Tales from the Tummy, won it. The second Black Bag was won by Jessica. Here’s a video of her receiving the mystery prize:

Anyway, this Pakyaw Black Bag promo started last July 19th. It will go on until August 21st, so make sure you grab the chance to buy what’s in it.

I don’t really consider myself a risk-taker, but this one, I’m willing to try my luck on. So, how do you exactly opt in to get a chance to win the promo?

Step 1: Register for Pakyaw

1. Go to www.pakyaw.com.ph.
2. Click “Register” on the upper right which will take you to the registration page.
3. Fill in the required fields with your personal information.
4. Click the box to agree to all Pakyaw Terms and Conditions then click on Register.
5. Check your email inbox for a verification email from Pakyaw. Click on the link provided to verify your email address.

That’s it! Now, how do you opt in?

Step 2: Opt-in to participate in the Black Bag Promo

1. Click on the Black Bag promo box on the main page of the Pakyaw website. For the third week, you can click here.
2. To opt-in to participate in the promo for that given week, click the “BUY” button. Take note that there is no cost (yes, FREE) to opt-in and the price on the deal page reads P0 (zero).
3. Once you click “BUY”, a thank you and confirmation page will appear. You should then see an order confirmation in your Pakyaw account.
4. In order to participate in each week’s black bag draw, members will have to repeat this process for opting-in for the chance to buy the bag each separate week.

If you win, again, you get the chance to pay for it for Php 2,000. Based on the past 2 weeks, they might deliver the package to you directly. I don’t mind, as long as it’s a much-awaited gadget!

Waahhh I want a DSLR! Or an iPad2! Or a brand new laptop or netbook even! I’ve already opted in and I’m crossing my fingers that I win next time.
