Last Friday (August 26, 2011), a new Apple Premium Reseller store, BEYOND THE BOX, was launched at the Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila. I had the privilege to attend their opening and it was figuratively and literally an “out-of-the-box” event.
The grand launch was hosted by Janeena Chan (Lifestyle Channel VJ) and Elbert Cuenca (Chairman of the Philippine Mac Users Group). Some celebrities were also there including Tessa Prieto-Valdez, Sanya Smith, Ornusa Cadness, Kelly Misa and Victor.
The event was filled with music and delight as the names of the guests were drawn out of the box and the lucky winners were given instant prizes – Crumpler bags, Urbanears earphones, Hisense Bluetooth headsets, MiPow iPad cases and binders, DiVooom speakers, Hedkandi headphones, Western Digital Passport drives, WiFi routers, and others.
Winners of the recently concluded “Hipstagram It” contest launched in the Beyond the Box Facebook Fan Page were also announced during the event.

During the event, iMacs, Macbooks, and iPads were on display and experts were there to readily provide useful information on how the products’ features can be fully utilized based on the customer’s likes and preferences.
Seeing how they treasure their would-be customers, I think what will make every Beyond the Box visit special is that they’ll help customers make the most of the gadget they purchase. They offer service and advice to home and business users, and they even provide regular in-store demos and trainings. Only goes to show that Beyond the Box aims to go beyond expectations and they do this by providing a unique Apple experience based on customer-oriented service and strong after sales support.
